About This Session

As a senior leader, do you recognise these challenges?

  • You feel the pressure of leading through constant change — rising costs, tightening regulation, the need to integrate AI — without a clear way forward to support your people to thrive through the journey you’re taking them on.
  • You’re accountable for the wellbeing spend in your organisation, yet struggle to say with confidence what impact it’s having, or what the return on investment is.
  • Your People Managers struggle to strike a consistent balance between wellbeing and performance, resulting in an “either/or” outcome rather than an “and”.
  • You have a wellbeing strategy (or don’t!) that offers a profusion of initiatives, with no clear roadmap for what to prioritise first, or a clear rationale for why.On top of this, you feel the pressure of leading through constant change: rising costs, tightening regulation, the need to integrate AI — without a clear way forward to support your people to thrive through the journey you’re taking them on.

Leave these challenges unaddressed and the risks compound: growing regulatory and legal exposure, with disengagement rising, burnout becoming prolific and eroding the very performance you’re trying to protect..

This session makes the case for wellbeing as a genuine performance lever — not a cost that has to be re-argued every budget cycle. You’ll leave with a clear framework to start putting in place, and concrete next steps to build your roadmap ahead.

What you’ll take away:

  • Recognising that you’re not alone! Workplace wellbeing is changing, and you’ll gain clarity around what role it plays in driving the performance of your organisation.
  • How to move from disjointed wellbeing initiatives to a systemic approach that drives real performance outcomes, and makes wellbeing a genuine business asset.
  • What to prioritise first — from risk-managing the fundamentals to promoting flourishing across the whole business.
  • The steps to get a clear, honest picture of where your organisation stands today, and a roadmap for exactly what to prioritise next.

Who it’s for:

Senior leaders responsible for people strategy and workplace culture — MDs, Operations Directors, CPOs, Heads of HR, Health & Safety

Wellbeing & Culture Strategist

I help organisations deliver brilliant performance by putting wellbeing where it belongs; at the heart of business strategy and how people lead, work and show up every day. After 25+ years in senior HR and operational leadership roles across Aviva, Ipsos, Ofcom, Greggs and Headspace, I’ve seen one truth repeated: when people thrive, organisations win. My work focuses on the everyday moments that shape culture, behaviour and performance, the tiny fires that ignite performance, unlock potential and protect people from burnout.

I bring a courageous and curious mindset, experience rooted in behavioural science and systems thinking and a deeply human approach to the challenges organisations struggle to solve. I’ve transformed wellbeing for thousands, delivering award-winning strategies, reducing absence by millions, lifting engagement double-digits and creating environments where people play to their strengths, feel energised, connected and capable of exceptional performance. I don’t do surface level wellbeing. I do commercial, human, insight-driven wellbeing that changes how organisations lead and deliver their business strategy.

As a TEDx speaker on mindset, achievement and dreaming big, I dial up the human in an AI-driven world, helping leaders lead with compassion and courage, teams thrive without burning out and organisations build cultures where wellbeing and high performance sit side by side.

My purpose is simple: help organisations become places where people feel alive, valued and able to do the best work of their lives and help organisations deliver the business outcomes they need to thrive.

SuperWellness

At 33, burnt out after years on a career path that didn’t feel like her own, Angela had a moment of clarity during a fasting retreat in Phuket: “Life is full of potential — unless you do something about it, it will go to waste.” That question — what role work plays in helping people thrive, or holding them back — led her to found SuperWellness 15 years ago. Since then, she has worked with over 1,500 organisations to build cultures where people can flourish.

To dig deeper, she completed a Masters in Organisational Psychology at Birkbeck, presenting her research on the role of wellbeing leads at the EAOHP Conference in 2024, and went on to research senior leaders’ perspectives on wellbeing with Professor Gail Kinman. That work has shaped a new, evidence-based approach connecting wellbeing directly to business performance.

Angela’s vision is a world where workplace wellbeing means creating the conditions for people to fulfil their potential — where good work is celebrated as a force for good, enabling people and organisations to flourish. Her mission is to help senior leaders build compassionate, high-performance cultures that prove what work, at its best, can be.
