OCS UK, part of OCS Group – an international facilities management company, is reporting positive feedback on a wellbeing programme it has been offering its staff across the UK since March this year.
The programme, run by lifestyle-centred wellbeing provider SuperWellness, includes a series of live webinars, as well as monthly content accessible to all. Its aim is to support employees’ physical and mental health, through education and motivation around prevention and positive lifestyle changes.
The live online events so far have included a ‘Nutrition Discovery Session’ and webinars on ‘Food for the Mind’ and ‘8 Steps to Better Sleep’. The 3 sessions were given an average 97% satisfaction rate by attendees. Some of the feedback comments included:
“This is the 2nd session I’ve been fortunate enough to attend. They are always very informative and really enjoy learning about the science behind that topic. After the last session about nutrition I started to make some changes in my diet and it has helped massively. I intend to do the same with today’s session. It’s also very helpful to be able to understand and share this information with my family and friends who also may be struggling! Thank you SO much! Looking forward to the next!”
“The information was interesting and relevant. Presented in a great way. I was surprised at how interesting it was and I did not find the subject dry or boring. I will be sharing what I have learnt as it’s really useful.”
The final live event of the year will take place in December and focus on ‘Winter Wellness’ with advice to support a healthy immune system and boost mood when daylight hours are shorter. It will also provide motivation and ideas for exercise and healthy eating during the colder months. The wellbeing team are planning similar events for 2022.
